Training on the water calls for clear reference points. Buoys can mark a practice area, a turning point or a course. Arrange them to suit sailing, windsurfing or kitesurfing sessions.
When planning your set, consider how many marks you need and how participants will tell them apart. Numbering helps instructors identify the next point and participants follow the course.
Preparing for a session
Plan the position of each buoy and an anchoring arrangement suitable for the location. Consider water depth, conditions and the training area. The anchoring handle provides an attachment point; the remaining anchoring equipment needs to be selected for the site.
Tell us where and how you intend to use your buoys. This helps us discuss the configuration and equipment required for your project.

Make your buoys part of your school, club or event identity. Choose a colour and send us your logo or artwork. Numbering and graphics can help participants recognise your course.

Can the buoy dimensions be changed?
Custom shapes or dimensions can be made to order and are quoted individually.
What is the inflation pressure for the training buoy?
The training buoy made from boat fabric can be inflated up to 0.2 at, approximately 0.2 bar. Do not confuse this model with low-pressure cone, cylinder, cube and pyramid buoys, for which we recommend approximately 0.15 bar.
Who uses WATS buoys and what are they used for?
WATS buoys are used by sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing schools, municipal sports centres and bathing area operators. They mark locations, zones and courses on the water. Triathlon, open-water swimming and other sporting event organisers also use them. The model should suit its purpose and the conditions on the water.
Does the buoy come with an anchor, line or weight?
The standard supply includes the buoy only. We do not supply anchoring systems: anchors, lines or weights. Customers select these themselves to suit the depth, bottom type, wind, waves and intended deployment period. An attachment point on the buoy is not a complete anchoring system.
Can a buoy carry a sponsor logo or event artwork?
Yes. A buoy can combine water marking with branding for a sponsor, organiser or school. We can print a logo, lettering or artwork. Attach a vector file to your enquiry and specify the number of buoys, intended print size and placement so we can quote the printing.
Which file should I prepare for a print quote and production?
Send your logo, lettering or artwork as a vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG. Vector artwork can be resized without losing sharpness. Saving a JPG photo as a PDF does not turn it into vectors. The enquiry form accepts up to 3 files of up to 5 MB each, with space to describe print size and placement. Files are reviewed before print preparation.
Can I enquire before I have vector artwork?
Yes. Attachments are optional, so you can first describe the product, quantity and intended print. Mention that you will supply vector artwork later. We need the correct artwork to quote and produce the print efficiently; ask your sponsor or the person responsible for the brand identity for the vector file.
What can I use to inflate a buoy?
You can use a foot pump, an electric pump or a compressor with pressure regulation and monitoring. Pumps are also available from WATS. Use an adapter that fits the valve and monitor the pressure specified for the model: training buoys and low-pressure buoys have different recommendations.
What pressure should I use for cone, cylinder, cube and pyramid buoys?
For these low-pressure buoys we recommend approximately 0.15 bar. Monitor the pressure while inflating. This applies to cone, cylinder, cube and pyramid models; the training buoy made from boat fabric has a different recommendation.
Can a product be customised for my project?
Custom dimensions, colours and printing depend on the product. Send us your requirements so we can review them and prepare a quotation.
When will I know the delivery time?
We confirm the schedule after reviewing the product, quantity and customisation. Include your target date in the enquiry.
Can an order be shipped abroad?
Yes. WATS ships within Poland and internationally. Delivery method, cost and timing depend on the size and destination.
